Ravenna, in the north-east of Italy, is an area of salt marshes, where people fish with nets operated from huts. Once upon a time it was done out of necessity, today it is done to pass the time, alone or with friends. I no longer live in those places but, when I return to my family for Christmas, December always gives me at least one of its incredible sunsets. I can enjoy it, with my hands in my pockets, only after having fallen into the usual, uncontrollable impulse of wanting to capture it in a photograph.
