Along the coast of Lofoten lies many reefs with odd shapes and extremely vivid colors. There was this one diamond shaped little pool framing the red stone like a relic on an altar. A tempest was about to happen, with the wind screaming and the clouds bruising the air. But in this shallow water, it looked like a covenant between land and sea: violence and stillness, erosion and eternity, written in blood and brine.
