“Old Wall, Soho, Pastels, Primarily” explores the paradoxical nature of existence in which erasure becomes presence, and decay becomes renewal. The photograph captures an old wall in Soho layered with faded posters and soft fragments of color. Through tonal adjustment, light, and compositional restraint, the image seeks to evoke both the visible and the nearly vanished - a meditation on memory, impermanence, and time.
