Time stood still

In Hunan, China, there is this natural marvel of the Dongjiang river. The temperature difference and humidity created this dreamy fairyland, with mist floating on the river like a live Chinese wash and ink painting. Fishermen cast their nets in the morning mist to catch fish. During the break, this small boat floated quietly and peacefully on the water. The water surface was as calm as one could imagine, and the gradually dispersing mist swayed elegantly behind the boat, as if time had stood still at this perfect minimalistic moment.

I am a photographer currently based in France, specialising in landscape storytelling and lifestyle pictures. Photography has transformed my life in profound ways. I see and find beauty everywhere, and I am beyond happy to memorise those precious moments through my camera frame.
