Buried: Gettin’ After It

Once a bee buries itself in a flower, a picture of its backside is usually uninteresting. This bee was the exception. Only a wisp of the bee's antenna is poking up from the flower, while it looks like the bee's forward most leg is being used as some sort of leverage to get in even further. Add in the bee's deep desire illustrated by its bushy orange back hairs standing up. All of which is highlighted against a glowing, green background. As we peer over the purple, pink Thistle. And all you can do is smile, as our friend the bumble bee is Buried deep and Gettin’ After It.
