Mitate is a Japanese concept of poetic comparison: something is seen and recognized as something else. In this series, everyday objects are reinterpreted through minimal interventions. The asparagus acts as a disruptive factor that shifts meanings and undermines functional systems. What seems familiar becomes alien. "Mitate" becomes a method of silent re-evaluation - an irritation that shifts the gaze and raises questions about the order of things.
What if the asparagus doesn't just grow - but explodes meanings?
