An abstraction of the detail of a water channel on Uig Sands, Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland at evening time.
I was mesmerised by the forms and light of this detail which is a visual representation of Rainer Maria Rilke’s words – ‘In deep nights I dig for you like treasure. For all I have seen that clutters the surface of my world is poor and paltry substitute for the beauty of you that has not yet happened.’
