On Good Friday evening, beneath the image of Christ crucified in agony, priests and the faithful gather in silence to venerate His body.
In this black-and-white image, the shadows and stillness speak louder than words. Each gesture of reverence—each kiss upon the feet of the crucified—echoes a love rooted in faith.
This moment captures not just a ritual, but a collective act of remembrance: that Christ, out of infinite love, chose suffering and death for the salvation of humankind. It is a visual meditation on sacrifice, devotion, and hope.
