Tracks of Life

Photo taken in the centre of Antwerp, I was originally fascinated by the light reflected from the display case, the fact that there was a lady just around the corner made my photo complete and I instinctively thought of the route people take in their lives through the symbolism the tram tracks present

Freelance photographer, always looking for typical subjects with an emphasis on shapes and structures, light and dark, sun and shade. My images emerge from deep human contacts and a continious intensive look at the dynamic environment. I decide which environment i choose, how i experience it and which emotion will be reflected in the image in question. Inevitably i manipulate the complexity of the environment/emotion to a greater or lesser extent by among other things, sketching a strong geometric framework and maintaining a well-considered symmetry.
