A moment captured at the Xia-Hai City God Temple, a famous temple dedicated to the Matchmaker God in Taipei.
Following Taiwanese tradition, people offer incense to pray for blessings, health, and peace.
After prayers, the incense sticks are placed in the large outdoor censer, each stick representing a heartfelt wish.
Amid the bustling streets, the censer stands quietly as wisps of smoke rise into the sky, carrying all the wishes toward the heavens.
