Les Nymphéas is a cycle of eight very large compositions donated by Monet to France the day after the 1918 armistice. Installed in the musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, they provide a fascinating and immersive journey in Monet's world. And immersive it is for most persons, adults and children, captured in this series as they seem to climb inside a dream.
