The Age of His Eyes

While traveling through Kenya, we were graciously welcomed onto a family’s farm nestled in the countryside. With permission from the parents, I framed their son in the doorway of their home. There was a stillness in the way he stood, with eyes that held more than just childhood—something peaceful, present, and wise beyond years. In the quiet gaze of a child, you can feel the soul of a place.
