Animism regards all things as endowed with an individual spiritual quality. While roaming through the forest on a quiet early afternoon, I found a lone mushroom, lying on a tree stump. Someone had placed it there, for reasons unknown to me. Before my eyes unfolded a mystical scene, enhanced by the contrast between the sunlight and the background: A non-material entity, or life energy that previously inhibited the mushroom now appeared to arise from it, similarly to a soul leaving the body.

Nature is my teacher, and I see myself as its messenger. My photography aims to convey natural elements, objects and phenomena into feelings and moods that relate to the universal human experience. A fan of minimalism in life, as in art, I love strong, meaningful imagery. My creativity stems from intuition and an open mind.
