SHORELINE - projections of a state of mood

These photographs were taken on the Jesolo shoreline on a splendid march afternoon, a crowded shoreline in summer and deserted in winter, where I try to give an expressive line, a language to interpret the environment and the actions of the people immersed in the fog, is also an invitation to explore mystery and solitude understood as a means of growth, in a silence that purifies tensions and makes us happy to come together.
And the sea with its infinite beauty is beyond time, where with its ancient voice it speaks to us even in winter and fills the air with tranquility.

Pietro Abbagnato was born in Rovigo, Italy in 1962 where he still lives.

His passion for photography dates back to his youth, when he bought his first camera and started his self-taught journey in photography learning the basics.

In 1997 he leaves photography but his passion remains.

In 2014 he decides to buy a reflex entering in the world of digital photography and starts to test, experiment and learn with his camera.

He prefers black and white photos, with minimal approach and without excessive post production manipulations.
