This photo is my interpretation of the famous dutch painting Girl with a pearl of Johannes Vermeer. Even though she is dressed in all kinds of vegetables, you can still see the image of the famous girl.The structures of the vegetables give the photo extra depth.

Sandra de Swart is a professional photographer from the Netherlands with a deep passion for fine art photography. She primarily creates portraits of people and dogs, inspired by the style of the Old Masters. Her images resemble timeless paintings, rich in atmosphere, emotion, and refinement. Self-taught in Photoshop, she developed her own visual language through years of experimentation, observation, and sensing. Her work captures not only the visible but, more importantly, the tangible.
