There are temple fairs of all sizes throughout Taiwan all year round. It is very common to set off firecrackers at temple fairs in Taiwan.
Believers set off a large number of firecrackers not only to welcome the arrival of the gods but also to create a joyful atmosphere.
It also represents gratitude to God. As environmental protection issues are increasingly valued, setting off firecrackers may be reduced or even banned in the future. This series of photos is a collection of several temple fairs.
