With little daylight from the winter sky, the sacred interior of Grundtvig’s Church was gently lit by six chandeliers. They were like candle lights in darkness, casting warm glow to the unadorned brick surfaces, with shadows that accentuated the vertical lines of the soaring columns and disappeared into blackness above the pointed arches.
