The Burning of the King Boat in Xishu

The whole town turns out to the boat-burning event in Xishu every twelve years. The King belief has been prevalent in the Southwestern Coast of Taiwan. The King Boat is the cultural carrier of the whole customs and rituals, and the burning of the king boat is a large and typical cultural event in the coastal areas.
