Ice Memories is a photographic project in the context of climate change and global warming that bridges the gap between art and science.
Photographs visualize the atmosphere of past millennia embedded in the global ice masses of our planet to raise awareness of their importance.
These ice masses are a time capsule for us humans as they enable us to look back in time and help us to understand the Earth’s complex system.
The result is a series of abstract photographs in different scales and perspectives, documenting and preserving what is condemned to perish.
