In the golden autumn we went to the North Sea coast to Sankt Peter Ording. This was a long-held wish and the weather conditions were perfect. Since it was late autumn, the colors of the sunset were already intense, but with a gray gradient filter I was able to get even more intensity.
Ideally, the tide was low at sunset, and so the beautiful undulating seabed came into view.
I have to say, the sunset on Santorini wasn't any more beautiful, but I was able to enjoy it here in peace and quiet.
"If you really love nature, you will find beauty everywhere." - Vincent Van Gogh
This quote from Vincent Van Gogh is very true for me, as I am a nature person and have been creatively dealing with nature as a landscape gardener for many years.
When I was on vacation, I was always traveling, whether near or far, but I always had my camera with me. This was probably the basis for my photography, which became a passion. When I'm on the move, I always have an eye open for great subjects. With impressionist photography, I found a new field of activity alongside nature and architecture.
Awards I have been submitting images to various international photography competitions for 3 years and there has been steady progress. The highlight so far was winning the Architecture category at the Budapest Int. Photo Awards 2024.
