This was a "Barbie-Style" make-up doll that I bought from a child in my village who'd outgrown it. I had an idea when I bought it as to how it should end up, and this is just about what I had envisaged. I have been making photographs for a number of decades but I think this is my first photograph of something that I have visualised then created!
I make photographs, and have done for some 60 years. I am British but also have Swedish citizenship and live in Swedish Lapland. I have also lived in Germany and photographed many professional sporting events there. Now that I am retired I am photographing more sedate, macro & still-life subjects.
