Medusa was one of the three Gorgons in Greek mythology, known for her deadly gaze that turned people to stone, yet rarely seen as a tragic figure. Often perceived only as a monster, she was, in reality, a victim of injustice—punished by Athena for an act she had no control over and condemned to loneliness and the eternal fear of those who sought to kill her.
