From the window of a jeepney, a young girl gazes out with curiosity and wonder, silently asking: What does the future hold for me?

Outside, the world races forward with economic and technological progress, yet her reality stands still. She sees older children, their eyes heavy with stories—resilience, quiet defiance, and a fragile hope dimmed by hardship. Each gaze becomes a mirror, reflecting the weight of stagnation in developing nations like the Philippines.

Together, they pose a question to us all: What kind of future are we building for them?
