In a clearing, in the heart of the African equatorial forest of Cameroon, lives one of the last groups of the Baka Pygmies: one of the oldest peoples in Africa.
In perfect balance with the environment around them and its resources, the Baka have survived for millennia by practicing a simple life, hunting with arrows and traps and collecting fruits and medicinal plants that the forest offered them, fully respecting and safeguarding it. biodiversity.
For several decades, due to the industrial exploitation of the forests, the survival of the Baka and their traditions has been in great danger.

Nata ad Orvieto il 15 Febbraio 1964.
Laureata in Economia e Commercio alla Sapienza di Roma (Italia).
Attualmente vivo a Lecce, dove svolgo l’attività lavorativa presso un’azienda pubblica.
Ho scoperto la passione per la fotografia sin da bambina, quando fotografavo in analogico.
Si è intensificata da adulta quando ho iniziato a effettuare i grandi viaggi che mi hanno portato a conoscere altre realtà, distanti dalla nostra cultura.
La mia fotografia è un resoconto di viaggio, una testimonianza etnica di usi e costumi di altri popoli.
