The Nix

This was in the Faroe Islands. There are lots of very interesting fables and tales of mythical creatures there. This is an art piece called The Nix, which is a water creature that is able to transform into many shapes. Most often to deceit humans to take them with him back in the water. The only thing that will help you if caught by a Nix is to call his name.
