Before the usually dreary and cold season begins, nature once again sets off a real firework display of natural art.
I walked through our local forest as if through a sea of colors. This and the 150th anniversary of Impressionism inspired me to create this series to pay tribute to this natural beauty.
I interpreted the Impressionist style in my own photographic way. I used only manual settings that varied depending on the desired intensity or effect.
For this series, I spent three days in the nearby forest. As Van Gogh said: If you really love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.
"If you really love nature, you will find beauty everywhere." - Vincent Van Gogh
This quote from Vincent Van Gogh is very true for me, as I am a nature person and have been creatively dealing with nature as a landscape gardener for many years.
When I was on vacation, I was always traveling, whether near or far, but I always had my camera with me. This was probably the basis for my photography, which became a passion. When I'm on the move, I always have an eye open for great subjects. With impressionist photography, I found a new field of activity alongside nature and architecture.
Awards I have been submitting images to various international photography competitions for 3 years and there has been steady progress. The highlight so far was winning the Architecture category at the Budapest Int. Photo Awards 2024.
