לְבַד is a Hebrew word pronounced as "leh-vahd," meaning "alone.” לְבַד explores the emotional complexities of dealing with personal trauma, drawing from memories of childhood and challenging family dynamics. As part of my healing process, I use portraiture to convey feelings of isolation, exclusion, and loneliness, and provide them an outlet. I hope to encourage a shared understanding of the emotions associated with human connections, fostering empathy and dialogue around the nature of meaningful relationships with our loved ones and towards ourselves.
