The Nature of All Things

If nature were to take on human form, would we still treat it with such indifference?"The Nature of All Things"challenges the conventional perception of humans and nature as separate entities by blurring the boundaries between the two, probing the intricate shapes and structures that define both humanity and our natural world, to explore the singular question of form. These images remind us that all elements, including humans, are inherently part of nature and that we need to urgently reconsider our relationship with the environment, to recognize and protect the beauty in our shared existence.

Julianne Rose, an Australian photographer based in Paris, with 30 years of experience. Her background as an 80s model then fashion photographer, informs her unique perspective on contemporary art. Julianne's provocative, captivating work explores the intersection of natural and constructed identities, challenging conventional norms through photos and installations. Her imagery blurs reality and fiction, exploring identity nuances and societal constructs, particularly feminism and socio-cultural institutions. Recently, her photographs question our relationship to the natural environment.
