On March 14, 1903, Mulla Mustafa Barzani, the father of the Kurdish nation, was born. He dedicated over half a century to the struggle for his people's freedom. His birth symbolized hope for an oppressed people. From the beginning, Barzani's life was intertwined with his people's sufferings, making him a charismatic leader of Kurdistan. History remembers him, and every year on March 14, Kurds in Kurdistan hold ceremonies to honor Mulla Mustafa Barzani. This photo is from these ceremonies in Barzan at the Ketin Horse Club.
