On March 14, 1903, Mulla Mustafa Barzani, the father of the Kurdish nation, was born. He dedicated over half a century to the struggle for his people's freedom. His birth symbolized hope for an oppressed people. From the beginning, Barzani's life was intertwined with his people's sufferings, making him a charismatic leader of Kurdistan.
