Shark Rain

Mikomoto Island in Japan, a sea where many hammerhead sharks live.
At times it is a torrent, and at other times it is murky and dark.
And when the conditions are right, the place is clear blue, the sun is shining, and the hammerhead sharks are beautifully illuminated.
Divers couldn't be happier when they see sharks falling like rain.

I began underwater photography in 2020.

Based in Japan, I explore and photograph the diverse underwater landscapes of oceans, rivers, and lakes, seeking quiet moments and the subtle connection between nature and life.

While working full-time in the corporate world, I continue to pursue underwater photography as a way to capture the beauty, stillness, and hidden stories beneath the surface.
