I never tire of watching Great White Egrets as they briefly pause high atop the liv e oaks to preen their their magnificent plumage. These splendid creatures mate, build nests, hunt food for their hungry chicks, all dressed up in what amounts to an ornate, wedding gown which they maintain in spotless condition.
I am a very old person who recently bought a camera and a canoe to paddle through the swamps and creeks of NE Florida, photographing the beauty I find there.
