Northern Lights over Zurich

This image shows the aurora borealis above the city lights of Zurich. It was taken on the historic night of May 10/11, 2024, when a huge solar storm reached Earth and brought the Northern Lights to Central Europe and various parts of the world. In this photo, a beautiful aurora frames the tower of the Uetliberg, a famous landmark of Zurich.
