On a sharply cool late autumn morning, I was able to see a beautiful scene at the border between autumn and winter. The shorter trees and grass were glistening white with frost, while the taller trees still had their autumn-colored leaves. While autumn leaves and foggy ice are beautiful, it is scenes like this that remind us of the change and continuity of the seasons that are more appealing to me.
