Imaginarium - Afternoon Storm in the Pastorale - Struggle
One panel from my multi-panelled work titled "Imaginarium", this Surrealist image depicts the struggle to rise above our earthly existence and attain a higher level of intellectual being.
Drawing inspiration from Beethoven's 6th Symphony ("Pastorale"), the work reflects on the need for a simpler, gentler society and the necessity for intellectual solutions instead of conflict and destruction.
Shot almost entirely in studio, every element was individually lit, styled and shot before being composed digitally to create the finished work.
