"Hypnagogia" delves into the transient state between sleeping and waking through spontaneous long-exposure self-portraits. Begun during a time of significant personal turmoil, these photographic "ink blots" visually represent the elusive hypnagogic state, serving as both a personal visual diary and a tool for understanding mental distress. The book features accompanying sketches and excerpts from dream journals and a hospital diary reflecting on sleep, mental health, and the role of art in expression.
