The Villa Borghese Garden and Galleria are sublime... part wonderland and part historical cultural repository. There are secret gardens in the park without public access. Art in the Galleria blends the realm of the ancient gods and goddesses of Greece and Rome through paintings and sculptures.

Classical myths and allegories inform this docudrama which is the most extensive photographic documentation of the gardens in the last century. This project was supported by: The Gli Amici di Villa Borghese; City of Roma; The American Academy in Rome Visiting Artist Program; and, Primary Image.
