Bun Pho

This photo was taken in the early hours of the morning at the Meovac market in the heart of the Ha Giang region in the extreme North-East of Vietnam. The market starts at 3 am, the atmosphere is very intense particularly during the sale of the buffaloes, pigs and other livestock. People travel from large distances, often on foot to sell their goods. The photograph shows both buyers and sellers consuming a well deserved traditional Vietnamese soup or Bun pho.

Anne has specialized in black and white photography since 2007. This forced her to go to the essentials without being "distracted" by color; Parisian street scenes also called for black and white. Anne loves street photography, photojournalism and also landscape photography. She happily combines photography and travel.
She has exhibited in many prestigious places including the Festival de La Gacilly, the Grand Palais and the Orangerie du Sénat in the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris.
In 2018, she opened her Fine Art photography studio in Auray.
