Camellia flowers are very fragile and fall easily, and almost always upside down. But even upside down, they're still of great aesthetic interest.
Now that I'm retired, I can devote much more time to photography and take my artistic approach further. I'm interested in many fields, but I'm especially drawn to nature when it can be aestheticized and made dreamlike or abstract. I also like photos with highly structured elements, such as can be found in cities. Finally, I also like to be surprised and take photos on the fly.
