A spontaneous process between the body and an ideal, almost imaginary, evanescent place, where space and time expand and inner walls blur.
Anna Parisi began her photographic journey during a 2013 trip to India. Traveling worldwide, she uses both portrait and self-portrait as tools for dialogue, knowledge, and discovery. Her work explores the relationship between matter and the body, focusing on change, memory, and identity. Through poetic, surreal self-portraits, she investigates the visible and invisible. Since 2019, she collaborates with INFN Turin on a science theatre project and, since 2022, with dance therapist Luisa Spagna. In 2023, she completed an eight-month mentorship with photographer Simona Ghizzoni.
