I took this picture while heading back to my car near the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse in Vik. The weather was intense, with strong winds and blowing snow that looked like sand in a desert. Even though my fingers were numb from the cold, I grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots, and this is one of them. The photo shows how we keep exploring despite the challenges from nature. Our desire to discover only gets stronger, no matter what Mother Earth throws at us.
