Focus stacked to keep both subjects sharp during complex lighting conditions, Passengers is a portrait of my daughters waiting to collect their other sister from school. We arrived early to ensure parking during stormy weather. I brought my camera to try capture lightning. Bored and impatient as they waited, I noticed both their expressions through the car mirror and turned the camera from the window toward them.
