In Taiwan's Shezidao, there is a century-old cultural tradition, which also serves as a rite of passage for local young men. Every Lantern Festival, young men carry the Earth God palanquin around the village to pray for blessings, passing through fields, factories, residential areas, and more, bringing blessings, prosperity, and peace to the land and its people. We believe that the more firecrackers are set off, the more blessings we receive from the Earth God.
