Today, yet remaining formally free, we depend more than ever on borders and restrictions. We were forced to obey the quarantine rules during the Covid epidemic. Martial law and curfew put severe restrictions on movement even within the borders of the own city. But most often we do create boundaries for ourselves. Although the body is forced to act within the frameworks of the circumstances, but the soul tries to break out of the boundaries - our "I" does not surrender to external pressure. The heroes of the photographs live in their own worlds, their inner space is full of hopes and desires.
Born in 1974 in Kyiv.
Over ten years of successful work in art photography.
Numerous personal and group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
2022 - joined the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine.
His recent projects, influenced by the war, occupation, and genocide in Ukraine, combine documentary and subjective aesthetics, reflecting both the turmoil and resilience of his homeland. These experiences have profoundly shaped his creative vision, infusing his work with a deep emotional and contemplative quality.
