Miracle
“Miracle” is a project that celebrates the beauty of all that is imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.
I am a lifelong haiku poet as well as a photographer. Miracle is my way of writing haiku poems visually. The use of black and white allows me to focus on such things as textures, shapes and composition. My images invite to treasure here and now.
The prints were created by transferring ink from a transparency to Arches 88 watercolor paper using alcohol-based transfer medium. The transfer technique complements the idea of smooth transition into the realm of personal epiphanies.
