This series is about our longing for paradise.
These edenic images are symbols for that transcendent state of mind, that feeling of being whole and connected, that we are striving for on our path of life, directed by our desires and aspirations.
It is a meditation about light and shadow contemplating that one would not exist without the other, a praise of shadow and all the shades in-between, all the facets of life itself.
Paradise is defined as a place of exceptional happiness. Through my visual poetry I seek to invite to that blissful state beyond the veils of perception.
Born 1974, I grew up in a beautiful area in Bavaria, Germany.
After studies in arts history and architecture I graduated
in mediadesign in 1999, Munich/Germany.
For many years I worked as art and creative director. I enjoyed living in Vienna and traveling the world.
Now I live with my husband und our 2 sons south of Munich.
Since I have a family, I focus an my artistic work. I love to follow my bliss and bring my ideas into being.
Nature is my muse, my inspiration, my object of contemplation.
I can soak in its beauty. With my art I try to catch a glimpse the essence and vibrancy of life.
