The series was taken in Northen Saltivka - a district of Kharkiv, which was the most affected by russian rocket and artillery attacks. Residential buildings were brutally shelled by the russians for many months. This is what the apartments of Kharkiv residents look like 14 months after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian occupying forces in Ukraine. The contrast between the dead flats and the leaves that bloom on the surviving trees is striking.
