The Solitary Tree series was photographed in Snowdonia, Wales.
My work continues to follow in the same vein as the First Snow series. It's motivated by a longing to capture the essence of the subject and a minimalistic approach, whilst creating moody and atmospheric images.
All the trees in this series have somehow managed to find a place to grow in one of most inhospitable places on the old slate slag heaps at the Dinorwic Slate Quarry in Snowdonia.
