Penguin Paradise

On this small remote island on the Antarctic Peninsula 4 humans and hundreds of Gentoo penguins live together and share the facilities. Penguins have right of way over humans, and make their highways to and from the sea. According to the Antarctic Treaty the natural environment and wildlife must be protected. This series evokes the daily activities of the Gentoo penguins, collecting stones for the nest, co-habitating, mating and defending their eggs and chicks from predators. I think of the rainbow flag as a precursor to an animal rights flag flying here.
