Silence Wish has served as a teacher, visiting professor, and artistic director.
His creative inspiration stems from the intersection of philosophy, literature, and art history; he employs symbolism and metaphor to construct a "visual philosophy" that tortures the human nature and explores aesthetic expression. His work blends classical and avant-garde qualities, with a creative philosophy deeply influenced by deconstructionism. His practice encompasses reversal film, negative film, and digital imaging, consistently prioritizing the originality of the image above all else.
