A man born in the 1930s in a poor family from northern Italy. Perfect pitch and strong musical talent, he embarked on a career which took him to Lebanon, Iran, Tuscany, France with a woman met on a musical evening who would follow him on all his travels around the world. A life beyond stereotypes and categorizations fueled by a unique love. Like Marcel Proust I believe in the evocative power of objects. They told me a lot about my in-laws' travels, encounters and vision of life. Indeed I chose objects to tell the feeling behind this story as a tribute to my in-laws who recently passed away

Floriana Avellino is a chameleonic photographer from Monza, Northern Italy. Being naturally allergic to labels Floriana is really inspired by any photographic genre considering each genre not so much a way of capturing reality but of interpreting and sharing a personal vision of it in a specific moment or situation. In that process the observer mixes up with their subject of observation and there she sees a chance to build a bridge towards the outer world and other human beings meeting them in what we all have got in common (inner emotions, hopes and fears)
